Onondaga Renewables, LLC (Onondaga) is a 50/50 joint venture between Atlantic Power and Catalyst Renewables LLC (Catalyst) formed in December 2008 to repower the decomissioned 91MW gas-fired cogeneration facility, Onondaga Cogen L.P., located in Geddes, New York. Utilizing locally acquired biomass fuel, the proposed facility is expected to have a capacity of approximately 40MW. Onondaga is currently in the process of obtaining a PPA for the full output of the facility.
