In 2009, Atlantic indirectly acquired an equity interest in Rollcast Energy, Inc. based in North Carolina. Atlantic currently owns 60% of Rollcast. Rollcast is a developer of biomass power plants in the southeastern U.S. with five 50MW projects in various stages of development. The Rollcast investment provides Atlantic the option, but not the obligation, to invest equity in Rollcast's biomass power plants. Two of the development projects have executed 20-year power purchase agreements with terms that provide for fuel cost pass-through to the utility off-taker.
